Frequently asked questions
What is Evertrue?
Evertrue backs exceptional founders early, before the opportunity may seem obvious to everyone else.
We bring early belief, long-term backing, and a high-conviction network to founders building category-defining companies.
At what stage do you invest?
Earlier than most.
We invest at the earliest stages, often before a product, revenue, or formal round exists. We are comfortable backing founders at the idea stage, pre-product, pre-revenue, at the MVP stage, or in the first institutional round.
How much do you invest?
We invest between $150k and $500k in each round.
Our cheque size depends on the stage, round size, ownership opportunity, and where we believe we can be most helpful.
When is the right time for a founder to reach out?
It’s never too early.
We frequently start speaking with founders while they are still employed, exploring an idea, looking for a co-founder, or building an MVP.
We often invest before a product launches or revenue is generated.
What kind of founders do you back?
Founders with rare ambition, sharp insight, and the ability to keep going.
We look for people who see what others miss, move with urgency, attract exceptional talent, and have the potential to build enduring companies.
What sectors do you invest in?
We are thesis-aware, but founder-first.
We are open to exceptional companies across sectors where technology, timing, and founder insight create the potential for outsized outcomes.
Do you lead rounds?
Yes, and we can be collaborative too.
We can lead, co-lead, or join alongside other high-quality investors. What matters most is our strong conviction in the founder.
Do you only invest in UK companies?
No.
We are UK-based, but we back exceptional founders globally where there is strong alignment with our investment approach and network.
What should I send you?
Send the clearest version of the opportunity.
A strong intro usually includes what you’re building, why now, who it’s for, what makes the insight non-obvious and why you are the right founder to build it.
A short note plus a deck is usually enough.
Will you sign an NDA?
Usually, no.
Like most venture firms, we do not typically sign NDAs before reviewing a company. Please only share information you are comfortable sending on that basis.
What happens after I reach out?
If there’s a fit, we’ll move quickly.
We may ask for more context, set up a call, introduce you to relevant people, or begin deeper diligence.
Due to volume, we may not be able to respond to every submission.
